We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding career awareness for girls across construction, energy, manufacturing, and maritime industries. At This One’s for the Gals, we talk to girls about careers that are often overlooked or never discussed at all. From skilled trades to STEM and everything in between, we help girls see what’s possible — and imagine themselves in careers they may have never considered.

We carry out our mission by partnering with schools, workforce development programs, and industry partners — meeting girls where they are and using every platform available to reach them. By sharing the stories and experiences of women already working in these industries, we help the next generation find inspiration, confidence, and the courage to pursue careers they once thought were out of reach.

While we are based in South Texas, our work extends wherever there’s an opportunity to support and inspire girls. From classrooms and career fairs to workshops and industry events, we meet girls where they are and open doors to careers they may have never considered. Whether you’re an industry partner, educator, or community member, we’d love to connect and create huge, lasting impact together.

Our founder, Stephanie Hajducek, shares the powerful story behind This One’s for the Gals - from a small idea to a growing movement opening doors for girls across construction, energy, manufacturing, maritime, and STEM.
Through an authentic, high-energy presentation, Stephanie weaves her personal journey with the evolution of TOFTG, giving students and educators a behind-the-scenes look at what’s possible when purpose meets action. Her talks build confidence, spark curiosity, and challenge audiences to think bigger about their future.
Stephanie’s message resonates with students, educators, and industry leaders alike because it is rooted in real experience, real relationships, and real results. She speaks candidly about the challenges, the pivots, and the persistence required to build something that truly makes an impact.
Each presentation is thoughtfully tailored to the audience, creating a meaningful and memorable experience that leaves students encouraged, educators energized, and communities inspired to keep opening doors for the next generation.

Through our trusted school partnerships, This One’s for the Gals (TOFTG) helps connect students to the POWER Women in Industry Conference through a structured educational field trip experience.
Working directly with school districts and educators, TOFTG coordinates opportunities for students to attend and engage with inspiring speakers, explore real-world career pathways, and gain meaningful exposure to careers across construction, energy, manufacturing, maritime, and STEM.
When available, TOFTG also works alongside our industry partners to coordinate exclusive facility tours and office visits, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at the industries shaping their future.
This experience is designed to move learning beyond the classroom - giving students a front-row seat to what’s possible for their future and the confidence to begin exploring the path to get there. By connecting education to real-world industry exposure, students gain meaningful insight into careers they may have never considered and leave with a clearer vision of the opportunities ahead.

TOFTG will be onsite to support and cheer on the talented young women competing in Alief ISD’s Forge Her Future welding competition. This exciting event highlights the skill, focus, and determination of students who are exploring pathways in welding and the skilled trades.
Through our presence and continued partnership with educators and industry leaders, This One’s for the Gals is proud to help amplify opportunities that give girls real visibility in hands-on career fields. We believe encouragement, exposure, and community support play a powerful role in helping students build confidence and see themselves in these high-demand industries.
By showing up and standing alongside these young competitors, TOFTG continues its mission of opening doors, celebrating progress, and helping the next generation of women in trades see what’s possible.
Events like Forge Her Future are powerful reminders that when schools, industry, and community organizations work together, we create meaningful pathways that help students turn interest into opportunity and potential into progress.
